Fundamentals of Government Cost Accounting
Leesburg, Virginia –January 21, 2020: Mr. Naeem Syed, Director of Government Contract Accounting at MillerMusmar CPAs, will teach a Fundamentals of Government Cost Accounting class at the Mason Enterprise Center located at 202 Church Street, SE, Room 107 in Leesburg, VA on February 4, 2020. This is a Virginia PTAC organized or sponsored event.
Naeem has over 20 years of public accounting experience and has extensive experience in working on incurred cost submissions and accounting system surveys. Hehas also provided assistance to clients who needed assistance in setting up their QuickBooks files to pass DCAA accounting system audits and will instruct participants in his class on various topics pertinent to doing business with the government.
Some of the training topics to be discussed will include major contract types, cost accumulation structure, direct and indirect cost, indirect cost pools, accounting for unallowables, DCAA accounting systems survey checklists, accounting and timesheet software options for contractorsand accounting policy procedures. There is no fee for this course and the registration deadline is 8:00 AM on February 4, 2020.
