Fundamentals of Government Cost Accounting

Leesburg, Virginia – July 10, 2019: Mr. Naeem Syed, Director of Government Contract Accounting at MillerMusmar CPAs, will teach a Fundamentals of Government Cost Accounting class at the Mason Enterprise Center in Leesburg, VA on July 11, 2019.

The July 11^th class is geared towards anyone interested in selling to the government. Topics to be discussed include fundamentals of government contract accounting such as major contract types, direct and indirect costs, and accounting for unallowable. Mr. Syed will also discuss how to set up QuickBooks files to help client’s pass DCAA Accounting System reviews, how to set up chart of accounts, and how to set up payroll to track direct and indirect labor.

There is no fee for this course and the registration deadline is 8:00 AM on July 11, 2019.
