Managing partner, Joey Musmar, presents the Bronze Medal of Valor to Fairfax County Police Department and Virginia State Police.
This 2021 Bronze Medal of Valor recognizes the amazing coordination of efforts by Fairfax County Police Department members and Virginia State Police to arrest a pair of armed robbers. The August 2019 arrest would not have been possible without the foresight and diligence of all involved. This includes timely submission of stolen vehicle information into the state’s license plate reader system after the last reported carjacking; dutiful monitoring of county police band by the state troopers; air support from Fairfax One; and the coordinated, well-executed pursuit of the two individuals who were ultimately apprehended in the marshy grounds surrounding a highway overpass. All officers involved displayed great zeal and ingenuity, deserving of this recognition. Their actions resulted in the apprehension of two individuals charged with bringing significant harm to the community.
